ABOUT DENIS
Denis is a very accomplished Mental Game Coach who specialises in the psychology of human behaviour and performance. He has dedicated the last fifteen years researching, studying, teaching and coaching his philosophy of performance to athletes, coaches and teams across Ireland and the UK. His coaching philosophy is validated by scientific research and timeless ancient wisdom. In GAA, he continues to work with elite Club & Inter-County teams helping them cultivate and maintain mental resilience to foster championship-winning mindsets.
He has played and represented his County, Mayo, both at under 21 and senior level in Gaelic Football. He has competed in seven County Finals (five senior, one U21 and one junior), two Provincials Club Finals and one All-Ireland Club Final. He has also engaged his services across other sporting disciplines such as golf, athletics, snooker, basketball, gymnastics, swimming and martial arts to mention a few.
Denis has provided coaching and training programs to various Enterprise Boards across the country and has delivered leadership talks and training to National Corporate Companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Gas Network Ireland and the Criminal Assets Bureau.
Holding an honours Degree in Psychology, he is a certified Life, Business and Mind Factor Coach. Denis holds a diploma in NLP & Sports Hypnosis and is certified in a variety of other psychological and contemplative disciplines – Neuroplasticity, Neuroscience for Personal Development, The Addicted Brain, Mindfulness and the Brain, Pranayama Breathhwork and Meditation.
He is an ‘asker of questions’ and will empower your team or organisation to increase their Standards of Excellence and create a High Performance Culture.
